Step 3: Complete the Profile (Day 1)

Step 4: Upload Photos (Week 1)

Photos are the single most important GBP element. Businesses with photos get 45% more clicks.

Initial Photo Set (Aaron can shoot these on weekends)

Upload at minimum:

  • 5-10 Squamish landscape/location photos (Shannon Falls, Chief, Nexen Beach, etc.)
  • 1-2 portraits of Aaron and/or Lana in their working environment
  • Logo image
  • Cover photo (most dramatic Squamish landscape shot)

Once Styled Shoots Happen

  • 20-30 couple photos across different locations
  • Behind-the-scenes shots showing the photographer-officiant combo
  • Ceremony moments
  • Adventure activity shots (climbing, hiking)

Photo Tips

  • Minimum 720px wide, JPEG or PNG
  • Name files with keywords: squamish-elopement-shannon-falls.jpg, adventure-wedding-stawamus-chief.jpg
  • Add location tags when uploading
  • Upload consistently — 2-3 new photos per week is better than 50 at once

Step 5: Set Up Posts (Ongoing)

Google Business Profile posts appear in search results and on Maps. Post weekly.

First Reviews Strategy

  • After each styled shoot, ask model couples to leave a review about the experience
  • After first founding couple elopement, request a review as part of the agreement

Review Request Template

Hi [NAME]! It was incredible working with you. If you have a moment, a Google review would mean the world to us — it helps other adventurous couples find us. Here’s the link: [DIRECT REVIEW LINK]

To get the direct review link: In GBP dashboard → “Get more reviews” → copy the short link

Step 7: Enable Messaging and Booking

  • Turn on Google Messages so couples can message directly from search results
  • Add a booking link pointing to the inquiry form on adventureweddings.love
  • Set up auto-reply for after-hours messages: “Thanks for reaching out! We’ll get back to you within 48 hours with ideas for your adventure elopement.”

Step 8: Monthly Maintenance

  • Post weekly (minimum)
  • Upload 2-3 new photos per week
  • Respond to all reviews within 24 hours (even negative ones — professional, brief)
  • Answer all Q&A promptly
  • Update holiday hours
  • Check Insights monthly — which search terms are people using?
  • Update services and pricing if packages change
